'Documentary dedicated to the tragic events of flight 8501 of 28th December 2014 when an AirAsia Airbus, with 155 passengers and 7 crew members, disappeared when entering storm after 40-minute flight from Indonesia to Singapore. The crash came at the end of the worst year in the history of air crashes that occurred in the last decade. The documentary compares the tragic incident with other incidents in the recent past - flight 447 of Air France flight 370 and on Malaysia Airlines, and explores whether 'super storms' are becoming more frequent and dangerous, putting planes at greater risk than ever before. The film investigates whether modern aviation technology make pilots more dependent on automation, leading to information overload at critical moments. Leading meteorologists will use previously prepared weather forecast from the day of the incident, to investigate the effects of the storm on one of the safest aircraft airbus A320. The documentary includes exclusive interviews with world recognized experts, as well as relatives of the victims, including lawyers representing families of the victims.'
