I formatted the drive, installed XP Home (a brand new OEM disk I bought at a local store) on 20GB of the drive, leaving the rest free for a later Linux install. I also have an XP Pro upgrade disk, which I used successfully after installing the Home version. Everything was great, until I tried to put Red Hat 8.0 onto the remaining partition.
